Group Calls

Communications/Website Committee

The communications and website committee shall be responsible for development of additional outreach and communications efforts with the chapter including website development and maintenance and other communication efforts aimed at keeping union membership informed and engaged with the chapter.

Membership Committee

The membership committee shall function for the purpose of increasing and retaining the number of active employee members eligible for membership in the chapter and for carrying out those duties as assigned under Part IX, Section 1B of the chapter’s bylaws.

Legislative Committee

The legislative committee shall function to ensure chapter participation in ongoing legislative efforts being conducted by the National Headquarters Office and for carrying out those duties as assigned under Part IX, Section 1C of the chapter’s bylaws.

Flexible Payment Planning

Audit Committee

The audit committee will monitor that chapter audits required by law have been completed and/or will assist in the performance of audits necessary for any other reason.  A chapter audit must be conducted annually. This committee will have access to all financial records necessary to complete its work pursuant to the chapter’s bylaws.

Personnel Management Committee

The personnel management committee will monitor and make recommendations to the chapter regarding personnel related matters brought to the unions attention or observed based on agency action or policy implementation.

 Scales of Justice

Bylaws Committee

The bylaws committee will make recommendations to amend the chapter’s bylaws for the benefit of chapter operations. All recommendations shall not conflict with the NTEU National constitution and bylaws or Department of Labor guidance and/or regulation and law.
